- No.: Sequential number automatically incremented based on the number of product lines.
- Product code: SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a unique identifier for each product or product line in the warehouse, supporting more efficient inventory management.
- Product name: Detailed descriptive information of a product.
- Basic unit: The basic unit of measurement, used for warehouse storage and is the smallest indivisible unit.
- Status: Indicates the condition of goods as either in stock or out of stock.
- Batch number: Batch number (Batch Number/Lot Number) is an identifier assigned to a specific batch of goods during production, warehousing, or distribution. This code enables traceability, inventory management, and product quality control.
- Expiry date: Expiry date (Expiry Date/EXP) is the final date on which the product is guaranteed to maintain its quality, efficacy, and safety for use. After this date, the manufacturer will no longer be responsible for product quality.
- Total inventory quantity: Actual inventory refers to the quantity of goods physically present in the warehouse at a specific point in time, verified through inventory methods such as manual counting, warehouse management software systems, or barcode scanning. This is a critical metric that enables effective warehouse management, helping to prevent stock shortages or overstocking. The goods have been processed and entered into the warehouse.
- Expected Incoming Quantity: The expected incoming quantity is the amount of goods you plan to import or stock within a specified period, based on demand forecasts or business plans. This figure assists in order planning, inventory management, and ensuring timely supply of goods.
- Expected Outgoing Quantity: The expected outgoing quantity is the amount of goods you anticipate dispatching from inventory within a specified period, based on customer demand forecasts, revenue, or sales plans. This figure enables you to ensure effective inventory management and prevent stock shortages.
- Theoretical inventory quantity: This is a calculated value based on the quantity of goods received into the warehouse, the quantity issued, and adjustments resulting from warehouse operations (such as error corrections, losses, or damages).
It supports inventory forecasting and assesses the organization's warehouse management capabilities. However, it may not precisely reflect the actual stock quantity, as it does not account for factors such as losses or errors during the receiving or issuing process.
