Category group

1. Purpose: 

A product category is a collection of product lines that the business provides to customers.

Each product line is grouped together based on similarities according to criteria such as function, industry/category, price segment, production technology, etc.

2. Usage conditions: 

The user account is granted functional permissions.

3. Steps to perform:

Step 1: The user accesses “Menu”, selects “Category”, and then selects “Category group”.

Step 2: Perform operations for the two types: Sales item and Ingredients.

• Create new: Select Category, click the “Create” button, enter the Category information, and select “Save” to create the Category.

Note: Fields marked with (*) are mandatory for users to enter or select.

• “Category group code”: Enter the code; spaces are not allowed.
• “Category group name”: Enter the category name.

• Adjustment: Select Alternatively, select “Update”; the selected category popup will be displayed, and the user can adjust the information. Select “Save” to update the information.

• Delete: There are two options for this action; confirm deletion by selecting “Delete”.

• Delete 1: Select the Origin you wish to delete, then select
• Delete multiple: Check the first column, then select “Delete”.

Note:Categories that have declared Goods and have generated Sales or Purchases cannot be deleted.
