Feature Overview:

The Recipe feature lists the components of dishes and beverages in the store, thereby enabling precise inventory control of ingredients and materials that have been sold or issued. You can configure recipes for dishes over time and adjust them according to business requirements; in such cases, inventory deduction for materials will be calculated based on the schedule you set.

Recipe Setup Screen

  1. Menu Group: Displays the menu group category.
  2. Menu Category: Displays the items requiring recipe setup.
  3. List of finished goods.
  4. List of ingredients and materials that make up a finished product.

Ingredient Name: displays the name of the component ingredient.

Quantity: displays the quantity of ingredient required in the recipe.

Unit of Measure: displays the unit of measure for the ingredient in the recipe.

Waste: displays the amount of ingredient lost during processing.

Loss in the Recipe refers to the loss or reduction of ingredients during the food preparation process. Loss may occur for various reasons, such as cooking, processing, or storage, resulting in the actual use of fewer ingredients than initially planned.

Deduct from inventory: tick to indicate that this ingredient will be deducted from inventory when used.
 

Step 1: For setting up the Recipe for standard goods.

Select ingredients, quantities, and the corresponding wastage rates for each ingredient.

 


 

Step 2: Setting up the Recipe for items with attributes.

Select ingredients, quantities, and the corresponding wastage rates for each ingredient according to the parent product's attributes.
