Feature Overview
A Promotion Program is a marketing activity implemented by a business or organization to attract customers, increase sales, or promote the brand by providing customers with special benefits within a specified period.

Step 1: In which “Filter”
- From date -> To date: The validity period of the Promotion Program.
- Branch: Select the branch to check the Promotion Program associated with that branch; allows viewing of one or multiple branches simultaneously.
- Promotion code: The promotion code of the program.
- Status: Status of the Promotion Program discount code (Coupon/Voucher).
Active: The Promotion Program has issued the relevant code(s).
Stopped: The Promotion Program has not issued the relevant code.
- No.: Automatically incremented serial number.
- Program Code: The Promotion Program code created and managed by the Enduser.
- Program Name: The Promotion Program name created and managed by the Enduser.
- Program Description: Additional notes providing detailed information about the program.

- From date -> To date: The validity period of the Promotion Program.
- Branch: Branch where the Promotion Program is applied.
Step 2: Create a new Promotion Program
General Information:
- Program Code: Initialize the Program Code for tracking purposes.
- Program Name: The name of the Promotion Program.
- Program Description: Detailed description of the program.
- Application Conditions:
- From date -> to date: The validity period of the Promotion Program.
- Select effective days: Choose the days of the week on which the Promotion Program will be valid.
- List of specific Promotion Program contents:
- Applicable Branch: The branch where this Promotion Program is applied.
- Type of Promotion:
- Order Promotion: A discount promotion based on the total order value.
- Customer Quantity Promotion: A discount promotion based on the number of customers who meet the conditions.
- Category-based Promotion: A discount promotion based on product categories that meet the promotion conditions.
- Menu Item Promotion: A discount promotion based on specific items that meet the promotion conditions.
- Status: In use or not in use
- Automatic application: The program is automatically applied or not automatically applied
The current types of Promotion Program available in the system are:
Within a single Promotion Program, only one type of promotion can be added (i.e., if the promotion type being used for that Promotion Program is %, then subsequent discounts will only be applied as a percentage, and vice versa. The system will not allow both % (percentage) and $ (fixed amount) promotion types to be applied simultaneously within a single Promotion Program.
- Case 1: The Promotion Program applies a discount to the Total Order Value. There are two types of discounts: percentage discount and fixed amount discount.
Customers using the Restaurant Service incur a Total Order Value.
+ Order: 1,000,000 will receive a 5% discount on the Total Order Value, with the total discount amount not exceeding 200,000.
+ Order: 5,000,000 will receive a 10% discount on the Total Order Value, with the total discount amount not exceeding 800,000 and an additional 5 cans of Heineken beer.
Similar to the discount method with a fixed amount reduction.
- Case 2: Promotion Program based on the number of customers The number of customers meeting the conditions specified by the Promotion Program will be eligible for a discount, either by percentage or fixed amount.
Customers using Restaurant Service who meet the required number of customers.
+ Order: with 3 customers will receive a discount of 50,000 on the Total Order Value.
+ Order: with 6 customers will receive a discount of 100,000 on the Total Order Value.
+ Order: For orders with 10 customers, a discount of 150,000 will be applied to the total order value and 10 cans of Pepsi will be given.
Similarly, there is a discount method that applies a percentage rate to the order.
- Case 3: Promotion Program by product category. Customers who purchase the required promotional quantity in the specified category will receive a corresponding discount.
Customers using Restaurant Service who meet the conditions of the Promotion Program.
+ Order: Customers who purchase beverages in the “Soft Drinks” product group with a minimum quantity of 5 items. The system will apply a fixed discount of 20,000 to the total quantity of goods in the specified product category.
Similarly, there is a discount method that applies a percentage rate to the order.
+ Order: The customer purchases at least 10 items from the “Soft Drinks” product group. The system will offer 01 can of Heineken Beer.
- Case 4: Promotion Program based on product details or menu.
Similarly, there is a Promotion Program for product details, which also includes two types of promotions: (%) percentage, ($) fixed amount, and product giveaways.
As described above: When a customer visits the restaurant and orders two portions of “Seafood Tram Mushroom Soup”, they will receive a fixed Discount of 20,000 VND and an additional two Pepsi soft drinks.
