Inventory In-Out And Stock Report
Feature Overview:
The inventory in-out and stock report is a document that consolidates and monitors the status of goods receipt, goods issue, and stock levels of goods, raw materials, finished products, etc., over a specified period (day, week, month, quarter, or year). This is an extremely important component of warehouse management and supply chain management.
By reviewing the report, end users can clearly understand the quantity and value of inventory in and out at each stage of system operation.

- Product name: This is the detailed descriptive information of a product.
- Basic unit: This is the basic unit of measurement used for warehouse storage and is the smallest basic unit.
- Status: Indicates whether the product remains in stock or is out of stock.
- Beginning inventory: Beginning inventory refers to the quantity and value of goods remaining in the warehouse at the start of the reporting period. This serves as the basis for calculating the quantity of goods after inward and outward transactions during the period.
Assuming the reporting period is from 01/04/2025 to 24/04/2025:
Beginning inventory is the quantity of goods in stock as of the end of 31/03/2025 or earlier.
- Inward transactions during the period: Inward transactions during the period refer to the total quantity and value of goods received into the warehouse (stock-in) within the reporting period—from the start date to the end date of the period.
Assuming the reporting period is from 01/04/2025 to 24/04/2025:
Inward transactions during the period are the quantity of goods received into the warehouse, increasing the warehouse stock during the period from 01/04/2025 to 24/04/2025.
- Outward transactions during the period: Outward transactions during the period represent the total quantity and value of goods issued from the warehouse within the reporting period—typically for sales, warehouse transfers, or internal use.
- Ending inventory: Ending inventory is the quantity and value of goods remaining in the warehouse at the close of the reporting period. This figure reflects the actual quantity of goods currently available in the warehouse after accounting for all inward and outward transactions during the period.
Ending inventory = Beginning inventory + Inward transactions during the period – Outward transactions during the period
